In 2016, with a vision to create a perfect work-life balance and provide businesses with unparalleled recruitment services, we founded Alexandrite Recruitment. This journey began with the dual milestone of launching our business and welcoming our son Maxwell into the world. Initially, we focused on offering a general recruitment service across East Anglia, with a significant emphasis on Accounts & Finance roles.
Our commitment to quality service quickly resonated with clients, and over the next four years, the business expanded nationally across the UK. During this period, Engineering & Manufacturing emerged as the core sectors of our operations, propelling our growth even further.
However, the arrival of the pandemic in 2020 brought unforeseen challenges, leading to a difficult period for the business. Despite the hardships, our loyal client base and stellar reputation within the Engineering & Manufacturing sectors saw us through.
By the end of 2021, and throughout 2022 and 2023, Alexandrite Recruitment experienced a remarkable resurgence, thriving more than ever before.
Recognising our true calling, we decided to focus exclusively on the Engineering & Manufacturing sectors. Thus, in the summer of 2024, Alexandrite Recruitment evolved into Obsidian Global Sourcing.
Our reborn business now stands as a dedicated, expert technical recruitment agency, offering a comprehensive 360-degree recruitment and consulting service to Engineering & Manufacturing companies, professionals, and educational institutions not just in the UK, but globally.

My exceptional networking skills have allowed me to build valuable contacts across various industries and sectors. I am results-driven with a flexible and positive attitude, consistently meeting all KPIs and targets throughout my career.
